Pretty Vegas - Wedding and Function Band
Pretty Vegas are a 3 piece rock/pop cover band from Liverpool England. The band specialises in providing entertainment for Weddings and Functions, and have played extensively across the UK to audiences of 50 to 500 people. All three members of the band are experienced musicians, having been in various bands since their early teens.
The band cover all of the North West, including Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside, but will travel further afield if required.
Pretty Vegas are a diverse and proficient band, playing covers from the Commitments, Blues Brothers, Queen and The Beatles to Adele and Lady Gaga. They offer a comprehensive, tailored service and provide unsurpassed liaison and communication, to make your special day personal and perfectly suited to your audience and event. Pretty Vegas can be booked as a band, but also offer a comprehensive band and DJ package, hosting your event and providing music all night.
Utilising backing tracks produced by Ritchie in his own project studio, they are of the highest standard and quality, and are mixed in such a way as to provide the sound of a full live band, but without the associated space requirements or cost. This way, Clients get the best of both worlds.
Mark Keown
Lead vocalist and DJ. He has held a residency for fifteen years at Briars Hall, a high end country hotel, restaurant and bar, where he regularly entertains crowds attending weddings and functions. Mark has a diverse vocal range and style, able as he is to emulate artists from Stevie Wonder to Suggs.
Leighton Hume
Rhythm guitarist and vocalist. He is a superb songwriter and headed the band’s previous venture ‘The Small Party’, an original rock band, which toured in the UK, released an iconic album and reached the finals of the nationwide Bodog Battle of the Bands competition. Leighton plays acoustic and electric guitar in Pretty Vegas, as well as providing killer harmonies in much of the band’s repertoire.
Ritchie Mellor
Lead guitarist in ‘Pretty Vegas’. His influences range from Steve Cropper to Kirk
Hammett, and his technical skill on the guitar is rivaled only by his expertise in
producing the band’s exquisite backing tracks. Ritchie’s trademark is his flamboyant
style on stage, often mingling with the crowd on the dance-
